China Banking Corporation (China Bank), the country’s first privately-owned commercial bank, is holding a fun run on July 17, 2011, Sunday, in celebration of the Bank's 63 years of successful operations in Cebu. As part of the Bank’s commitment to give back to the community, a portion of the proceeds from the event will be given to ABS-CBN Foundation's Tabang Patrol program.
China Bank officials expect the fun run to draw in over 1,000 participants comprising of China Bank clients and employees and their families. There will be 3K, 6K, and 12K races and winners of each race category will win cash prizes.
“As we celebrate over six decades of enduring partnerships with our clients and employees here in Cebu, we believe that an event like this will further strengthen our bond with them and help us build new relationships with prospective clients,” said Patrick Go, the Bank's VisMin Region Head. China Bank has 15 branches and one ChinaBank Savings branch now in Cebu.
Registration fee is P250.00 per participant, inclusive of the runner's singlet, race bib, and refreshments. Interested runners can visit any China Bank Metro Cebu branch to register. Deadline for registration is July 1. Assembly time for the July 17 event is at 5:00 a.m. at China Bank Cebu Business Center along Samar Loop corner Panay Road, Cebu Business Park.
The China Bank Fun Run will be conducted in coordination with the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation (ERUF), the Office of the Sports Commissioner, ABS-CBN, and Cebu Holdings, Inc.
