The Beaver Island Marathon, Half Marathon and 3.5 mile Harbor Run participants have called this event "a most memorable marathon",” a terrific event", "an absolute blast", "an awesome event”,” well executed" and "one of the best race experiences, ever". The Beaver Island Marathon will be this and more in 2011.  Labor Day weekend September 3, 2011 runners can again experience Beaver Island, Michigan at its very best!  This event is presented by the Beaver Island Chamber of Commerce, the Beaver Island Boat Company, Fresh Air Aviation and Island Airways.
