Description:
The Oak Tree is a unique running race featuring two USATF certified courses timed with ChronoTrack disposable chips. Live music, unique local awards, and plenty of volunteer support make this a must run on your annual calendar.

The half marathon course enters the National Historic Landmark village of Geneseo before heading into the country on dirt roads. You will travel through the Nations Road Grasslands, identified as an Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society, and view the majestic Oak Tree savannahs of the Genesee Valley. This course passes over 2,800 acres of private property that has been permanently protected by the Genesee Valley Conservancy. You will finish on the Geneseo Central School track.

The 5K course tours the National Historic Landmark village of Geneseo; pass through the business district before entering residential streets. You will pass a Genesee Valley Conservancy nature preserve and a private property with over 200 acres of permanently protected land. You will finish on the Geneseo Central School track.
