PhilHealth Nationwide Run 2013 @ Baguio City – February 17, 2013

Nestled in the heart of the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Burnham Park, one of the prominent landmarks of Baguio City and the Cordillera Region, serves as host to hundreds of local, national and international events. Exercise buffs and runners from all walks of life have found an ally in Burnham Park as it serves as a perfect setting for myriad running and other sporting events. Come and experience the PhilHealth Run in Baguio City during the Panagbenga 2013 Season!

Proceeds of the run will go to the benefit of the PhilHealth Run’s National Sponsor, the Philippine Children Medical Center, and the regional beneficiary, Helping Hands Healing Hearts Ministries Philippines - Children’s Recovery Unit Baguio, a Christian Non-Government Organization and a licensed institution serving indigent sick children. Patients, 0-18 years old, mostly coming from the Baguio General Hospital and Benguet General Hospital are provided after-care programs which include further treatment, completion of medication, physical therapy and nutritional build-up. The most common cases are acute lymphocytic leukemia, cerebral palsy, lupus, chronic kidney failure, burns, sepsis, meningitis and nutritional disorders.

5K: Burnham Lake Drive -> Skating Rink, Jose Abad Santos Drive -> Kisad Road -> BGH Rotonda -> Military Cut-Off –> Camp Joh Hay Rotonda (Turning Point) -> Upper Session Rd -> Convention Center -> U.P. Drive -> Gov. Pack Road -> Kisad -> Back to Burnham Lake Drive.
