Batangas
is home of the "Balisong Blades," the symbol of every
Batangueño's strong nature. It is a place known for its white sand
beaches, Taal Volcano, hot springs, hovering waterfalls and a
never-ending list of nature's most precious gifts.
For
Batangueños, running has become one of the preferred physical
activities. PhilHealth is proud to bring the country’s first
nationwide run to the area. This leg of the run will be held at the
Batangas Provincial Capitol Site.
Proceeds
of the run will go to the benefit of the PhilHealth Run's National
Sponsor, the Philippine Children Medical Center, and the regional
beneficiary, Cancer
Warrior's Foundation, Inc.,
a facility that offers financial, spiritual, and moral assistance to
women and children suffering from cancer.
