PhilHealth Nationwide Run 2013 @ Dagupan City – February 17, 2013

Welcome to Dagupan City, a first class city and North Luzon's "Pandaragupan", World Record breaker of the Longest Grill, Bangus Capital of the World and home of the World’s Tastiest Milkfish – the Dagupan Bangus. With its name derived from a word that means "gathering place," it is perfect as one of the sites for the country’s first simultaneous nationwide run. This leg of the run will start and finish at the Dagupan City Plaza.

Proceeds of the run will go to the benefit of the PhilHealth Run’s National Sponsor, the Philippine Children Medical Center, and the regional beneficiary, Kanlungan Centre Foundation, Inc. a non-profit organization in San Fernando City, La Union that upholds the rights and welfare of OFWs and their families, especially women migrants, through gender-responsive, holistic and empowering direct services, advocacy, organizing and capacity-building. It also engages in the prevention and fights against trafficking in women and children.
