PhilHealth Nationwide Run 2013 @ Zamboanga City – February 17, 2013

The City of Zamboanga located in Mindanao, Philippines is the commercial and industrial center of the Zamboanga Peninsula. This leg of the race is set to start and finish at the Joaquin F. Enriquez Memorial Sports Complex at R.T. Lim Boulevard in Zamboanga City.

Proceeds of the run will go to the benefit of the PhilHealth Run's National Sponsor, the Philippine Children Medical Center, and the regional beneficiary, Tanya's Ward,Pediatric Oncology Unit of Zamboanga City Medical Center, a 5-bed chemotherapy room, intended for admitted children (0-13 years old) afflicted with various forms of malignancy, whether for the treatment of effects of myelosuppression (infection or sepsis, anemia or bleeding) or for chemotherapy.
