Madrid Marathon (or Maratón Popular de Madrid) is the most popular marathon in Madrid, Spain. The run started in 1978 and is an IAAF Silver Label Road Race with more than 10,000 runners which also includes a 10K run. The race course begins near Paseo de Recoletos and finishes inside the park at Paseo del Duque de Fernán Nuñez. Recent results from the run for elite runners are published below.

The 33rd ‘Maratón Popular de Madrid’ attracted more than 10,000 runners from no fewer than 49 countries. Thomson Cherogony set a new course record.
