Vibram FiveFingers are a type of shoe manufactured by Vibram, originally marketed as a more "natural" alternative for different outdoors activities (sailing, kayaking, canoeing, and as a camp or after-hike shoe). The footwear has thin, flexible soles that are contoured to the shape of the human foot, including visible individual sections for the toes. Vibram FiveFingers are meant to replicate being barefoot and allow for the natural biomechanics of the foot to work.
The Vibram Five Fingers Bikila is one of the most unique running shoes out in market. Unlike many of the other styles of Five Fingers that Vibram made, the Bikila was designed to be a running shoe. It Features a Dri-Lex® covered 3mm polyurethane insole (thickest under the ball) and a 4mm anatomical pod outsole design that offers more plating protection. Despite the new soles created for protection throughout the concrete jungle, it still conforms to the standard Five Fingers toe design and allows for more freedom in the toe area and a more natural movement.
FiveFingers KSO Men
The KSO, named for its new feature is designed simply to “Keep Stuff Out”. The stretch mesh added to the top of the shoes prevents gravel, rocks and other substances from entering your shoe and potentially irritating or injuring your foot. The hoop and loop closure mechanism secures your foot and provides you with a flexible fit. The KSO is ideal for activities where if you could you would want to go barefoot–kayaking, yoga, pilates, martial arts, fitness training, running, canoeing, etc…
FiveFingers Moc Men
The FiveFingers Moc was designed to enhance a barefoot feeling. The kangaroo leather upper feels soft against the bare foot, yet is strong and tear resistant. The 7-part Vibram rubber sole offers maximum feel and flexibility without sacrificing slip resistance. The FiveFingers Moc was designed primarily for indoor use during fitness training, CrossFit, yoga and for after sport. The sole is not designed for extended use during outdoor activities like trekking, running, or water sports.
