PhilHealth Nationwide Run 2013 @ Iloilo City – February 17, 2013

SM City, the largest mall in Iloilo City and the site of the start and finish of the first ever PhilHealth Run in the region is situated along Diversion Road, also known as Ninoy Aquino Avenue, in Manduriao, one of the seven districts of Iloilo City.

Diversion Road, as it is commonly known, will be the main route of the PhilHealth Nationwide Run 2.17.13 leg in Iloilo. It has rapidly developed into one of the three commercial areas in Iloilo City. With the new two-kilometer Esplanade with a relaxing view across the river side of Iloilo, it is now the place of choice by health enthusiasts for runs, walks, zumba, yoga, and relaxation, thus, fitting the name of "Diversion."

Proceeds of the run will go to the benefit of the PhilHealth Run's National Sponsor, the Philippine Children's Medical Center and the regional beneficiary, KKK or mga Kaibigan ng mga Kabataang may Kanser, a non-profit organization which provides financial support for chemotherapy of cancer-stricken children from indigent Filipino families.
